Glauber for Senate
Hello, my name is David Glauber.  I am running for election to represent you in the Kentucky
State Senate. I would like to begin by telling you about myself so you truly understand the man
who is asking for your vote.

My family and I moved to Bullitt County in 1993.  My wife Lea graduated from Bullitt East High
School and University of Louisville.   She taught at Brooks, Maryville and now teaches at Old Mill
Elementary.

I was born and raised in Carroll County in a family of small business owners and farmers.  My
family owned and operated Glauber’s Shoe Store for 144 years as well as a sporting goods
store since the 70’s.   I grew up working in those stores and on the farm through high school.  I
graduated from the University of Louisville with a Finance degree and Economics minor.  I’m
currently pursuing my MBA at the University of Indiana.  In 2004, I began my own appraisal firm
known as American Appraisers Corporation.  We provide commercial real estate appraisals all
across the United States and specialize in churches.

My biggest concern with government is the wasteful overspending and constant expansion of
government.  I will oppose any projects that waste your money and I will be looking for ways to
shrink the size and scope of government.  If you want a government that spends less and
intrudes less in the lives and liberty of the citizens then you must elect a representative who is
committed to that goal.

I offer you solid experience with small business, finance, farming and real estate.  I’ll never
compromise on 2nd Amendment rights. And I’ll always stand firm to protect life.

I'm for small government, low taxes and most importantly individual responsibility.   I will
sincerely appreciate your support and your vote.  In return rest assured that I’ll take my oath to
support and uphold the US Constitution and the Constitution of the Commonwealth seriously
in all business and votes before me while representing you in the Kentucky Senate.

Sincerely,

David J. Glauber, MAI
